This guide shows you how to download your sales reports from your Kobo Writing Life account, ready to import into Royalties HQ.
Log in to Kobo Writing Life
Log in to your Kobo Writing Life account at writinglife.kobobooks.com.
Download your sales reports
To download your sales data from Kobo:
- In the dashboard, click Reporting
- Select the date range for the sales period you need
- Click Export to download the report as an Excel or CSV file
- Save the file to your computer
Kobo reports include sales across all Kobo storefronts and territories. Each row represents a transaction for a specific title, including the currency and territory information.
Important: Do not edit sales files
It is important that you do not edit the content of your Kobo sales files. Modifying the data may prevent the file from being imported into Royalties HQ. You can rename the file without opening it.
